Yeah I listened to his testimony a bit until he started fake crying and the judge called a break. Just full on BS theater.

Probably figured charges could keep the city from burning down and then since few pay actual attention to the trial, when the jury acquits the prosecution can say "we did everything we could" when all along they were probably trying to throw the game.

This judge seems to be as nakedly political as any judge I have seen in a long time. To me it is clear he cares about which side wins, and that is the one thing he is NOT supposed to care about as a judge.

Everything in this country has become hopelessly politicized. And then we have politicians who will or can not do their jobs because everything has become so hopelessly politicized. This country needs to come apart at the seams once and for all. Maybe those of us who survive the civil war can figure out a better way.

Rittenhouse is a fat little fuck who shouldn't be allowed within 10 miles of a gun ever again, and should spend the rest of his life washing dishes or sweeping floors or whatever worthless outcome life has in store for him. That said, the facts of this case never met the social media mythology of it, of a teenage proud boy wannabe, parading up and down the streets of Kenosha shooting peaceful, innocent protesters sitting in a circle singing kumbaya.
 
He doesn't have the right to shoot people just cause they were rioting. He is not a fucking cop. His life was not threatened no matter how many crocodile tears he shows on the stand.

But yeah that isn't a crime or anything...

You can say that, but that does not make it true. Based on the way this judge is ruling and the way the trial is going he apparently in Wisconsin does have the right to shoot people that were rioting.

I mean, the DOJ is offering the Shaman four years for what he did. Any other country, any other time in history that would be the death penalty minimum. If he were black and that was a BLM protest he would have been dead on Jan 6.

But, he gets 4 years.

This country is a joke. Our DOJ is a joke. Our attorney general is a joke. Can we honestly say we have a country anymore? Cause without laws you don't have much.

The jury verdict is going to hinge on whether they think he was acting in self defense. Testimony that one guy pointed a gun at Rittenhouse before Rittenhouse shot him, that while Rittenhouse was on the ground, one or two of the people he shot were kicking him or swinging a skateboard at him, and testimony that one of the people he shot tried to grab Rittenhouse's gun away from him right before Rittenhouse shot him, while verbally threatening Rittenhouse, is evidence that a jury can use to acquit. Not saying they will, or that Rittenhouse should even get away with what he did without penalty. I'm just saying the facts are not as some of you may believe, think you believe or wish.

They can use all sorts of stuff...like when he lied about being an EMT, like when he was there for a specific purpose (to protect one spot) and the cops had already cleared that area and he went looking to find more to do.

You might think this kid isn't a criminal and the jury will likely buy his scared little boy bullchit but lets not pretend that is the prevailing opinion or that the judge hasn't ignored things that discount the bullchit story he put forth. (like commenting how in a similar situation earlier he would do pretty much exactly what he did) Not to mention scared little boys dont allow themselves to be caught at a bar with Nazi Wannabees flashing white power symbols in pictures.

None of these excuses being used would fly if he was a darker shade of pale...

2 of those happened after he had already shot someone. What, you don't believe in the "good guy with a gun" coming to the rescue anymore? If that had been a black guy who'd just shot someone?

The first victim, all you have is Rittenhouse's word that that's what happened.
