I don't think Griner should be in the situation she is with regards to jail over any of this but for fucks sake the whole problem is of her making. No one forced her into anything and it was hardly an innocent mistake. Now a fucking arms dealer with some awful allies is getting released because of it. If Trump was president making this deal no one would think it was a good idea. If the American wasn't famous no one would think this is a good idea. The world is fundamentally less safe because of this but it's OK because she plays in the WNBA. If i make the same mistake no one is outraged and cutting loose terrorists to save me. (Nor should they)

Whether the punishment she faces fits the crime or not (it doesn't) is a different argument. But both things can be true.

For the record I would have had no issue with who Trump gave to get her back if he was in office. There's so much evil in the world releasing one clown bag to one fucked up country isn't going to matter.

When we were in AZ their signs were everywhere, each trying to be dumber and more vicious than the next. The Right is always a race to the bottom, but this year the bottom is very, very low.

I heard this morning that the end result of the Cyber Ninja's and the investigation into voter fraud was ONE dead person voted in Arizona in 2020. That was an incredibly good use of resources.
