Tucker's producer? That explains it. Carlson probably told him he could hang out with him on his Twitter show if he did it.

Me trying to answer a European's question (about the sub-optimal nominees the Dems typically give me), "why don't people vote for someone else in the primaries?" Did I leave anything out?

~~~
Many of us do. I am not sure I have ever voted for the eventual nominee in the primary.
There were times in the past when I even voted outside the 2-party system in the general. I stopped when the GOP became a white nationalist fundamentalist Christian party in the the early 2000s. That took away my ability to vote for anybody except the Democrats.
What I do now is campaign and work very hard for my preferred candidate and policies through the primaries and convention, then vote straight ticket Democratic in the general election while trying to maneuver our candidates towards more humane and reasonable Leftist policies.
Liberals have 80% of the power within the Democratic party, conservative Dems have 20%. Leftists have zero. Liberals and conservative Dem have all the biggest donors, because they have been bribed via contributions not to redistribute wealth or regulate industry. The party does have a decent record in social policies, because Big Money doesn't care about that. But without repealing the lethal anti-middle class policies put in place by both parties, beginning with Kennedy's reduction of the top marginal tax rate in 1961 and continuing through Reagan, Clinton, Dubya and Dump giving away the treasury to the rich and destroying social mobility, what we have now are a more diverse and legally equal population of serfs to slave away for their neo-feudal masters in the top 1%.
And yet... that is STILL lightyears better than the Right and the GOP, who are stone cold fascists.
Someone get Dylan to take a picture holding an AR-15 while drinking water and breathing air. Maybe they'll boycott that and humanity will be saved.
Banning Frosted Flakes and switching to Froot Loops?Who's gonna tell him it's the same company?
Hopefully they start boycotting Minnesota companies General Mills and cargill, too.
there will be nothing for them to eat.
It would require them reading some history, but Wheaties is a proud ally...
TIL about two movements in Poland. (1) It is becoming a popular move destination for right wing American crazies. Homophobia, Islamophobia, trad wives, Catholic cray. (2) The rightwing parties in the Polish parliament want to exit the EU.
I for one welcome a mass migration of American conservatives to Poland just in time for them to surrender to Putin. Let's unite the Right.
So in an article I read it said that in 2016 and 2020 Trump courted the LGBTQ crowd by being openly Anti-Muslim...now they are courting the Muslims by being openly Anti-LGBTQ. Cause I am sure the Muslims will forget the GOP policy of the past 40 years...
I'm not sure trying to hire Laura Loomer will be seen as a sign he's ready to reconcile with Muslims. Plus in May he said he was going to bring back the Muslim ban. His Anti-LGBTQ rhetoric is simply him being his POS self and doing everything he can to catch a wave of support beyond his Qtard base.
Merrick Garland and DOJ dragged their feet for over a year on Jan 6th. Did not even mention his name. If the Jan 6th committee had never happened Dump would not even have ever been investigated for Jan 6.
Chris Christie was on CNBC He spent three minutes just absolutely trashing Trump. Really sounded like he could mount a solid charge.
Then, Joe Kernan asked about Chris' policy and this happened:
Christie is running as Trump 2016, but actually effective and less racist. He wants to finish building the wall. He wants to raise retirement age. In a twist though, he wants to keep SS. And he wants to actually fund education.
Cutting spending was a big Christie talking point, and Kernan, bless his heart, actually pushed back and asked where those cuts would come from.
"Celebrating" Modelo selling more over Bud Light, the same company who celebrates Pride Month there as well hasn't sank in yet so I wouldn't hold your breath.
