All the extremists on Abortion and Immigration are on one side for the most part. Yes. If the Democrats were in charge and the Bill on Immigration that was agreed upon by BOTH SIDES had been signed we'd be in a much better place.

If Roe were still in place we'd still be fucked up, but a lot better off.

This is why I resent "conservatives." Big C. Little C. Masquerading as Republicans. Whatever. They refuse to negotiate, refuse to compromise, refuse to talk out issues.

This Republican thought he had a swell "Gotcha!" moment where he could bad mouth the Democrats who lowered their pay raise for teachers from $15k to $10k. Then he tries to talk the Democrat into saying $30k was a bridge too far. The Democrat kept pushing to have the Republican sign the addendum until the Republican realized the mine field he walked himself into. And then departs with a "well, we're just going to vote the bill down anyway."

Republicans aren't legislating anymore, and they haven't for decades.

And it's pretty telling when even the water carriers on this board are tired of carrying the water and wont even put up a fight anymore. Even they realize how f*cked their own party is. And yet they'll keep voting for these schmucks.
