The Frozen Four

Re: The Frozen Four

We'll find out on Sat, won't we?

We've already played twice and actually split, but that was a long time ago (October 31 and November 1). A great goalie can steal. But I'm looking at these two teams and I just don't see BU losing. But, yes, we will find out.

Re: The Frozen Four

Haven't read all this stuff and maybe you're talking in jest. ALL of the North Dakota fans I met and talked to were very classy and genuine. They are passionate, but who isn't when it comes to college hockey. It was great talking with them. Congrats on a great season!

You're an odd chick.

Re: The Frozen Four

I think it's fair to point out that und controlled play for long stretches. Not fair to just say bu fell asleep. Both goalies let in some bad ones but timing wise mcyntire's were worse.

Re: The Frozen Four

From start to finish it was providence who looked like best team of the 4 but omaha was so bad i don't know

Re: The Frozen Four

Well, I don't know anything about that because we don't see them. I'm just talking about the fans in the stands.

50/50 there. I refuse to go to UND for a MN game. Not only because it's Grand Forks. And here in MPLS, for the most part, they are not much better. Think: Packer fans in hockey form.

Going into the F4, BU was my preferred team, due to having more friends in that fanbase than the other teams. But to say they are the flat out best team, period...season's not over. And on paper, and yes I am biased, MN was the best team. ;)

Re: The Frozen Four

Providence is playing like a well oiled machine in it's last three. The most fundamentally sound hockey in the Frozen Four.
BU is suspect on D and in net. Very suspect on D.

Best team at the Frozen Four... Providence College will win the big enchilada!

PC will need to grind it out like they have done in this tourney...BU weakness is that defense which isn't big and fast. They have a couple of guys that are big but they are slow and vice versa which PC should be able to exploit. If PC plays like they did against Omaha, Denver, and Miami PC will win.

Now if only pc can find another nchc cupcake to play Saturday....

Re: The Frozen Four

If you listened to the ESPN broadcast, you ended up rooting against BU just to shut Buccigross and "4 college games a year makes me an expert" Melrose up.

OK. You say so. The first game was played at half-speed by two teams that looked like they were skating in slush. Providence IS difficult to play against, but to say they're the "Best team at the Frozen Four" is ludicrous.
