Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

That was just a matter of time unfortunately. Cameroon not looking good in the 2nd half.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

As much as we hate Mexico, they've really looked night and day better under Miguel Herrera. They could have 4-5 goals today. Still shaky on the back line and unsure in net, but I'm surprised how good they've looked going forward without Chicharito.

Cameroon has got to have the worst crosses. They send it in like three seconds before they should.

They were unfortunate not to get the call on the edge of the box where Eto'o's food got stepped on. But it was a tough angle to see. They've had a few chances, mostly on set pieces, but haven't created a lot.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

Cameroon actually just put together a nice combination. Not over yet.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

Shoot. That might've been their last shot there. Hopefully not though. Still about 7 minutes if you include stoppage time.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

I figured subs added on extra time, but I guess not. Not that Cameroon would've done anything with an extra minute anyway.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

Assou-Ekotto looked pretty threatening at times but not enough.

Fantastic save by Ochoa at the end.

Muck Fexico. Can't believe they drew an easier group than us. Hope Croatia brings it against them.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

Got to watch a good chunk of that game at lunch. Bizarre refereeing again. Some of those yellow cards were just silly.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

you'd think croatia should be able to handle cameroon, setting up the 2nd place match against mexico.
