Hezbollah, too. :p

Ford was a meathead, but the constituent service model is exactly how you are supposed to win votes for local yokel seats, so fair f-cks to him. He seems to have just ridden suburban resentment of urban areas to the mayoralty, and he wouldn't be the first. Doesn't work above the level of local precinct poobah, because at a certain point you get disparate constituents and you have to either compromise or pick winners and losers. Ford did the latter, with a vengeance, so ef him.

And, obviously, Kepler is much more knowledgeable on how Ford did things than SteveP is.

Despite his foibles, Ford did a pretty good job as mayor after defeating gay lib George Smitherman (the darling of the downtown crowd) by 90 thousand votes. He saved the city millions and prevented another disastrous garbage workers strike.

Ford took great delight at tweaking the collective nose of the leftards on council, and it appears he's doing that here as well ---- in effect giving an ef you from the beyond. :p

The Karnak of USCHO. ;)

I'll take that as a compliment...

Here is a more neutral take on how Ford was able to win the mayoralty. "Reading" is this activity that can teach one about places they haven't been... sometimes even more than the people who have been there...

Phife Dawg. :(

So, what did you do with your friends in high school? He and his co-founded A Tribe Called Quest.

Ahh yes, the ever popular Kepler self-education regimen: Read an article on the internet, and proclaim yourself an expert!

"This Week In Baseball" followed by the one baseball game on television each week with Joe doing color ... oh the days ...

Mel Allen followed by Vin Scully and Joe Garagiola on a Saturday afternoon. The typical 80's summer weekend.
