Re: The Dead Thread: Yep. Still Dead.

Yes. And you don't. One of us is right and the other wrong and we won't know which until we're dead.

In the meantime, let's live our lives according to these 2 principles:
If it harm none, do it.
Protect the weak from the strong.

Any more discussion should be over in the religion thread.

Actually, both of you could be wrong. Everyone on this board could be wrong. It's not a dichotomy of either Christianity is correct or atheism is correct. A lot of us are going to have some serious egg on our faces if Nirvana is truly the goal or Mohammed had it right all along. And Shintoists on the board?

FSM looks like a pretty decent afterlife, at least for 20-something guys.

Uh guys...can we leave the afterlife out of this. None of us will know the truth until it is too late anyways ;)

Re: The Dead Thread: Yep. Still Dead.

I liked most of Sandler's movies until the last few years, then it was 50-50 if I wanted to even see it. Mostly, they're fun for just turning off the brain and acting like it's high school all over again.

Also, people seem to omit that he's actually had a few very solid movies, liked by audiences and critics alike. Spanglish, Anger Management, and there's a third that I'm forgetting - a somber movie that was either a dark comedy or a bleak drama with some dark humor in it.

Anger Management was decent. I know which one you're talking about with the dark humor, I think it's Punch Drunk Love? That was also alright.

The guy isn't a terrible actor, he just makes some terrible movies.
