Even if I thought he was a jerkwad (and he often came across as one), I still would have liked to have a beer with him.

There is a poster that, before meeting me, had a mutual friend assure us both that we were actually okay people, and didn't REALLY want to whup each other's arse. :D We got along just fine, and still talk once in a while via social media. One can be on the opposite ends of the spectrum, and still get along.

I didn't say it, as I thought it was poor taste, but I'd be lying if I didn't joke to myself "oh wow, the Obama administration finally did him in" at first.

I never thought I'd say it, but I kind of wish I'd stuck around the political threads more earlier this year.

Nah, I don't hang around at old guy bars! However, I too will add my condolences for the old bahstid who was a great foil and actually had a good sense of humor. Not sure of his family situation but if he had one it would be nice to get in touch with them so they can view his postings out here as well as this thread. I recall when gcost passed away it was a son or daughter who posted out here and informed us.

The answer as to whether or not they pull the plug on Lamar Odom is dependent upon which action they think will draw the biggest audience to their show. The producers must be consulted!

Oddly enough, it's being reported that he waited until she left the room, then opened his eyes and asked the nurse if Khloe had left. Then he added hopefully, "For goodsies?"

Given that Priceless was something like his third or fourth username - I only know of 93Champs, off the top of my head, so it shouldn't be unexpected.
