The Dead Thread 2024

Your near encyclopedic retention for actors is both impressive and scary, and I’m willing to bet is not limited to that field. I shall make a point not to intentionally cross you…again…assuming I have before.
Awwww, thanks! Just don't ask me what I had for breakfast today, because what?? :)

I just get excited when I see actors that get their start on soaps excel in bigger things. I used to watch two soaps religiously and when I would see actors on those shows pop up elsewhere, I feel proud of them. Soaps get a bad wrap and that bothers me because, even though they are soap operas, I don't think I've ever been moved to tears watching regular primetime shows or movies like I have when watching a soap. So when someone wins something or, like Jennifer passes away unexpectedly, they never mention their soap credits.

Back in the day, when I went to one of my many Emmy Awards, I saw Ray Liotta (RIP) and told him I'd been a fan of his since he was Joey Perini on Another World and he stopped and said "No way!"
