Sorry for the noob question - did the Red-and-White belt get retired? Or was that never actually a thing?

Also curious if The Belt had ever been held by such a lowly-ranked team (St. Lawrence at 59/60), especially at this point in the season. I’m sure the data does not exist to answer, but that just seems incredibly unlikely.

The Red and White Belt still exists, but I stopped posting it. Sacred Heart has it.

They've cancelled their basketball tournament so it would be a shock if they let hockey continue forward.

I agree. I just didn't want to update with what we know about the league tourneys and then have to update it again.
Not that I didn't enjoy your ECAC probabilities when just Harvard and Yale were out. :)

Is this the first season without a title game since then ncaa started? Any other curiosities about this season?

The CT Ice tournament was a 2 year deal, so Sacred Heart will definitely have to defend the CT Belt at some point in the season
