Good to hear. That means that I don't start another belt. I figured that must have been the case since I have never started another belt because of the Bean Pot, and I would be surprised if it was never tied after the standard OT in the past.

My understanding is that this is the first year they did the 5 minute OT. In the past, they went right to 20 minute OTs, but with the NCAA rules standardizing overtime rules, they had to play the 5 minutes this year.

Thanks. The rule which we made up originally was that as long as it was 5x5 it counted.

Unless I'm misunderstanding it, I don't think Minnesota State is eligible for the Michigan belt.

Appreciate all you do with this, Ralph. Not knowing the work involved, what are the chances of a Connecticut belt since we have 4 teams and the Connecticut Ice Tourney?
