Mercyhurst lost to RMU the next night, then to Air Force (also a D1 school) on 1/6/18. They tied AIC on 1/20 but it appears there was no shootout, and lost to RIT (a D-III school) on 2/12. They lost in the AH semis to RMU again. They lost this year to BGSU and Miami (both D-1 schools), then to Ferris State on 10/19. They then beat FSU the next night, and left town with the belt. It appears the next defense will be @ Bentley on 11/30.

Just for future reference, this is Merrimack's final season in D-II. They are starting their D-I transition 7/1/19.
