OK. I changed it and entered the name change as going into effect while Air Force held it from 11/15/14 to 11/28/14

I'm sure there were plenty of cases back when they actually eliminated teams at the end of the regular season. In that case, an Alternate Belt is given to the NCAA champion, and later united.

Exactly. There were such cases in the past but not recently. The last time was in 1986 when US International College had the Belt but wasn't in the tourney. Michigan State got an alternate. They were unified the following season.
