The collective Minnesota / Wisconsin / North Dakota drunk thread

Re: The collective Minnesota / Wisconsin / North Dakota drunk thread

Whoa. I got a long way to go before I can handle that. Looks like I got some work to do. Something to strive for, which is good because I need a goal.

Well the ice goes in first, so it's not maybe as much as you think although my tumblers are pretty large... so to speak. ;)

:p

That actually was a point of argument in the infamous dead deer case a few years back. Guy was busted for having sex with a dead deer. His lawyer argued that the law only covered LIVE animals. The court ruled against that argument.

The best part of it all? Well, think about it: the lawyer said "Yup, my client had sex with a deer. BUT it was dead, so it shouldn't count."

I don't buy that these people are from Wisconsin, they have to be transplants.

First of all, as a Wisconsinite, there's no way I'm leaving my best friend, let alone some stranger, unsupervised in a locked room with all my beer.

Second, if I'm locked alone in a room with all your beer, I'm sure as hell drinking more than four.

Valid points. It’s also possible his buddies heard there was a fresh deer up the road or a paint thinner truck tipped on the freeway.

Nah... you don't hold out for thinner.

There's always room for more.

At the Milwaukee bound gate at Denver airport. Worn shoes, caps, and containers of bad junk food. My people. :)

One of my favorite moments with Dr. Mrs. About 8 years ago, coming back from an idyllic vacation in Lake Louise. We're in the Calgary airport at the gate waiting for our flight to Newark. Two fat guys, one with a (football) Giants sweatshirt and one wearing a Jeter jersey, are jawing, and she turns to me and offers some nice words about New Yorkers.

At that moment they get into a slap fight that ends with one taking the other to the floor and then both wives/daughters/girlfriends/hookers/it's all the same on Staten Island jumping in and slapping them on their heads while screaming like wildebeests.

I turned on my heel and told Dr. Mrs. over my shoulder, "I'll be in the bar."

Never been prouder of My People in my life.
