According to both NBC News and Fox News (as reported in Huffington Post), Syrian government has loaded aerial weapons with Sarin gas and is preparing to use them against the rebels. This is really, really bad. :(

Saddam used chemical warfare and the world expressed it's horror and did nothing.

Weapons of mass destruction are a political decision. I'm betting a Bloomberg sized soda that the military commanders are aghast. If they're used, the government falls internally rather than externally.

Well, now we know what happened to Saddam's WMDs, the ones we knew were there and couldn't find. They were all shipped to Syria before the US invasion. :(

Al Jazeera English shames anything in the US when it comes to legitimate news content generation. This could be a very welcome thing for some people (admittedly like me) if it follows the AJE model. Not sure that will help ratings, but I'll take it.

Al Jazeera ain't buying Jennifer Granholm and company, it bought a cheap in. Low risk, high (potential) reward. From the article:
