Hey, can I ask one of you guyz to do me a favor this weekend? Can you email me the scores during or after the games? I'll be flying south friday night but should be able to pick up email.

I'll be listening to Saturday's game on the archive, probably Sunday morning. There's a presentation at the local high school Saturday evening about George Mallory and Sandy Irvine, and the expedition to Everest that discovered Mallory's remains a decade or so ago. Lots of photos from someone who was a member of that expedition, should be a fun evening.

Sad when Maine hockey takes a back seat.

I won't be at the games, but could probably get you a score. Most likely after the game. Of course, you'll have to remind me since I barely remember my name.

Not where I am!It's waaaay better now than in years past.

I'm no fan of Time Warner,but I get 6-12(!) games nearly every weekend.I just wish the MF's offered NESN on the sports package.:(

Wait a second, I thought he did nothing wrong and Tim was just suspending guys for random things like interrupting a speech. That's what knowitall said(before he deleted it). Now it's out there that this guy has alcohol related problems. Hmmmm.... Does knowitall actually know anything?

Regardless, I am glad to see the kid is getting help for his problems and hopefully he can get past the issue and get moving with his hockey career.

Why would it be salt in the wound? The Frozen Four is in Detroit this year, so they're saying he could still be coming to Detroit as one of the three finalists for the Hobey Baker.

Wouldn't that be a good thing?

I have no idea what the deal is with Knowitall and deleting of posts, seems very odd. :confused:

This is definitely an alcohol issue and two incidents in the past couple of weeks have led to this point. I too hope that he can overcome whatever issues he is facing right now. In the end, he is still a young man with a lot of life to live and hockey is not as important as making sure he gets the help he needs right now.

It shouldn't, Detroit lacks offense, Maine lacks a goalie for next year, I think he might be gone this summer

from what you know of sill and czuba, would YOU have characterized their dismissal as "for a series of alcohol-related events"?

and I never said I had a clue what Scott did or did not do, I just said that it is unfair to judge if we none of us knows... and that it MIGHT HAVE been for disagreeing with his royal majesty. Talk to Marshall about missing his last 2 regular season games and the playoffs for THAT kind of "offense".

Are you saying that the University lied in its press release? Not a little white lie, or dressing up a bad situation in pretty language, but lied about students and alcohol? That's a pretty serious accusation, especially considering the circumstances. You have anything to back that up?

Edit: I see you've already deleted your post...maybe you decided to retract your accusations...
