The 2024 GQP Thread: Because Deutsche Gopher Fan ENDED the Last One

Crazy former schoolteachers all torn up by a Madonna-whore complex instilled by an excessively religious upbringing?

Pretty much spot on.

That's every good-looking conservative woman.

As distinct from the homely ones: the hate-pinch faces of church-going women.

Read today that her staffers told her two years ago to nix the dog story from her manuscript.

The self-assurance of the MAGAs in their own rightness is truly something to behold.

so F this guy, yeah?

Women should stay in the kitchen.

He gave the commencement address at what appears to be a Catholic college in Kansas, so I'm neither surprised, nor do I particularly care. The derps who attend these private, overpriced, religious institutions usually choose to do so knowing what they're in for, and this is the kind of "Xtian family values" bullsh*t they want to hear. I'm sure their administration reviewed and approved the draft of Butker's address, and this wouldn't even be much of a news story if some religious leader delivered it. Instead, they gave it to an NFL meathead who is part of the Sedevacantist cult and has a history of trolling for responses, so they both got what they wanted (cheap press).

Basically, I have developed compassion fatigue for anyone who continues to go along with the Culture Wars crap pushed by the far-right. It may not be easy, they may even be shunned, but these graduates are adults now - they can choose to leave the church and join the rest of us in the 21st century (and the handful of smart ones inevitably will).

Given he's a teammate of Taylor Swift's boyfriend and she is super high profile when it comes to women, if there will be any conversations possibly?

I dont think anyone is saying "can you believe he did that there" but more "why would he do it?" period. He has the best gig in the world spouting this nonsense so publicly is a massive self-own. At least wait until you retire...

As for the students...I care more about what my cat thinks than them.
