The real problem...she has been telling this story since she got into the senate. (she used it at a PC last year ripping Biden over the border) And in all of that time not one journalist looked into it? Not phucking one? It took this guy like 3 hours to debunk the story with little to no effort but you are telling me that WaPo or the NYTimes or CNN or even the frauds at Axios or Politico couldn't send out some flunky to look into this? I mean it isn't like she was vague...she has been a Senator for like 35 seconds, if she went to the border and heard this story I guarantee there would be some evidence. Oh but she is a pretty White Lady we can just nod our head and primp her up and make her look great! (hello Nancy Mace) Just like every woman Trump hired...ignore all the baggage she has a solid rack and looks good in a skirt so all is well!! Lets just print 12 more headlines about how Biden is old...

Hell even now it isn't getting real traction...this chit should be making the rounds and she should have already had to make up some BS response. But no it is all over SM but not many in the actual media seem to care. They are still too busy being shocked Joe Biden isn't something out of Night of the Living Dead and talking about polling that was debunked days ago.

Kyle has been such an asset to the "news cycle" in Colorado. He started out being the young, energetic, and funny reporter. Now, he takes on big issues in the state, mostly around politics. He knows a majority of his fans are liberal, so he goes a good job of calling out issues that are being caused by some liberal policies, but does it the right way.

And, of course, holds nothing back on Boebert and other clowns.

One party wants people to vote; the other party wants to throw out people's votes.
 
If this was a sporting event you would be accusing them of taking a dive. I mean their decisions are just hilariously bad...

I mean think about what the voters have been telling them since 2020...Abortion *ahem* Trumps all other issues. Yeah sure "polling" says Immigration, Crime and the Economy matter but if that was the case the Dems wouldn't be smoking them in pretty much every election. The non-GOP voters are supporting Women, Unions, Minorities and hate all the BS about elections. Sure some House districts seem keen on Qrazies, but in statewide voting they aren't winning.

Plus, every time they try and fight Marc Elias and his crew they end up losing. Courts don't seem to keen on the election BS or taking away the right to vote. And lest we forget, prior to 2020 mail in votes were big wins for the GOP in most states.

So knowing all of that, do they pivot in any way? Nope. Their candidate is openly bragging he ended Abortion and supports a nationwide ban. They were offered an Immigration Deal so conservative the Border Patrol Union (Trumpers) openly question why they got screwed and fellow GOPers that worked on it are feuding with the MAGA Wing. They blame everything they hate on LGBTQ+ or DEI and openly flip flop on issues so quickly it even John Kerry is getting whiplash watching. And in states Trump absolutely has to win like Arizona, they aren't trying to find candidates that might be a bit more palatable to Maricopa County to run on the top of the ticket for Senator...they nominate Kari Lake who has already been rejected by them as Governor and is running against a well liked Dem in Gallego. (oh and she is being sued by Republicans she blamed for the election being rigged)

All of that, while they are having massive fundraising issues (since Trump alienated all the rich Haley supporters) which are about to be exasperated by having his daughter in law in charge and basically pledging to use what little money they have to fund Trump's legal defense.

I mean...this is Sonny Liston falling down without a punch bad.
 
Can't win a Primary W/O Trump.

Can't win a general with him.

That's the conundrum the R's found themselves in and why they are beholden to him. You can't pivot after a primary season full of MAGA BS. Their bed is made.

Yep...and you can see they are breaking at the seams. They hate each other agonist as much as they hate Dems right now. Over half of the House GOP won't even go to the Caucus retreat this weekend. Buck is leaving early to flat out screw them. And Trump is doing nothing to try and ease tensions because he is still ticked at Haley and her supporters.

Not that I'm mad about it ;^)

Yup. Ds were asleep in '16 and lost. They were afraid of what more harm Dump could cause in '20, and Biden won. I'm completely OK with bad poll news.

Precisely. For the oceans of ink (galaxies of electrons?) spent on analysis of the Republicans' "just a step to the right" into a fascist party, this is all that needs to be said.
