I saw the tweet. The tweet said that she's dumb and her music sucks, and linked to The Federalist column on her music written by someone else. The tweet was clickbait, nothing else, and almost certainly worked like a charm.
So, more people are likely to vote because he said she is dumb and her music sucks?

This brings out an interesting effect of the Neanderthalopshere. The Echo Chamber has perverse incentives. The "influencers" who provide the content care about attention. Being a lightning rod and a target of rage tweets is, as you point out, rocket fuel for them. The more offensive they are, the angrier they make people, the higher their profile and the wealthier they personally become.
However, the Echo Chamber was created as a killing jar to keep knuckledragger voters like, ahem, well.... you... locked into epistemic closure only having your own biases repeated back to you as a 24/7 ideological BJ. It was created explicitly to be an effective political instrument by the people who exploit you and fool you into destroying your future in a fit of pique. Those people want to win elections so they can perpetuate you and your children paying for the devastation wrought by them evading their fair tax burden. And those people get hurt if the net result of the Echo Chamber is a diminution of their GOP brownshirts' electoral power.
This has always been a problem. Dump's con game of ripping off his voters for his personal gain, while harming the GOP brand overall, is the quintessence of the longterm problem of the most incendiary fascist idiocies always just one link from the saner public. This is another example. Davis will swim in money, but the Greater Bad he serves will suffer.
