The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

The St. Cloud NCHC schedule is stupid in that the two teams we only play once, North Dakota and CC, are our first two opponents and then we never see them again. You would think we should play them somewhere in the middle and then put more time between al our other rematches.

Try making a league schedule that makes everyone happy...

Re: The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

Welp, WCHA schedule may be getting a tweak now...

Will be interesting to see how they schedule it. I think they'll wait to see if any other schools will be cutting hockey as well. UAH dropping means UML and Omaha will need to find new non-conference opponents. I'm not sure who the 3rd UAH opponent was supposed to be...

Re: The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

I was going to update the spreadsheet today but saw that UAH has a go fund me thing going to save the hockey team. Not sure how legit it is but I will hold off on making any changes until after the deadline (5/29) passes.

I'm going to put a section on the main page on known games being called off like HC @ ASU and the ones that are rumored in a color. In the OOC tab, I'm planning on putting a strikethrough the teams that were supposed to play but ended up being canceled due to budget/covid/UAH dropping team/etc.

Re: The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

Catamount cup is tentatively set to be Vermont, Sacred Heart, Colgate, and Western Michigan.

Fortress was supposed to have umass, harvard, sacred heart, and an unknown team. Harvard switched to Great Lakes, Sacred Heart switched to catamount cup, umass will have to find 2 new games and whoever the 4th team was will have to find 2 new games too.

Re: The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

LSSU will play at Union October 9-10 and then a single game against the USNTDP at home Sunday, October 18 as of now. Confirmed by head coach Damon Whitten on Laker Hockey Talk radio show recently.

Re: The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

The entire 34 game schedule for Clarkson men is on the Clarkson website on the Hockey team page.

Re: The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

Spreadsheet is all updated to date 5/31.

Yale's 7 non-conference opponents are now known - CT tourney (2), MSG - The Garden (Cornell), @merrimack, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Army.

If history holds, we should be seeing the big ten schedule drop this or next week.

Re: The 2020-21 Schedules Thread

How did they find a coach, a few players already and some opponents? Amazing...

They moved quickly! Looks like they just need a goalie and some back up bench players at this point. As of now, we all have to assume the season will start on time as there hasn't been anything to say that the season will be shortened or delayed. If the big ten or a random ECAC/HE/AHA team doesn't release their schedule this or next week then I'd be worried.

Still haven't heard anything new about games being rescheduled or canceled but it's very interesting to see some teams on LIUs rumored schedule like Brown which means either they canceled their ASU trip or they are allowed to play extra games as their other non conference games are local. UML must've either canceled their UAH games or they are able to get other games.

This USCHO forum update seemed to have screwed up the Tapatalk app I use as I cannot log into it - anyone having this issue??? Hope they fix it otherwise it'll be tougher for me to check here for updates / post updates.
