Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

AZ, NV, and TX have already surpassed their total 2014 votes. Hmm, I'm trying to think of something else those 3 states have in common this election.

Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

I got two texts today, both for Republicans. One claimed Props 2 and 3 in Michigan were funded by "liberal special interests."

Replied STOP on both of them.

I have had a few texts addressed to people that are not me. Why use a name to start the text if it may not be correct? I am neither Daniel nor Michelle.

I'm excited for prop 3 in MI. Drove by 3 polling places on my morning commute, 5 minutes after they opened, and they were already packed.

I'm still unsure about prop 2. I like the theory behind it, I just don't know if it will be effective. Then again, if the Rs are saying it's funded by "liberal special interests" maybe I'm for it.

Yeah I got that yesterday. So annoying...

So...Curt Schilling is Scooby!!?!?! I think my head just exploded. :D

I did not predict that.

I wish I could be optimistic enough to have the Dems winning the Senate. There is a path but I think it'll fall a couple short.

I can't personally get them past 50 with winning coin tosses unless Gallup's generic's likely voter (+11) turns out to be accurate.

white people scared to death of brown women and children slowly walking towards the border?

Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

I was ballot 94 in my precinct today. I'm done. Politicians, don't contact me anymore.

Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

I was 75 in my ward at 7:45. In midterms prior that would have gotten in about number 30. My neighbor was there and said turn-out including all wards in our district was huge compared to prior years.

People are sick of Walker and Brad “Avery and Dassey will die in prison” Schimel.

I was voting about that same time. My precinct is normally a late-voting one, but even this year I'm notably higher in the count than in other mid-term elections.

This is fine and dandy, but what happens in 2020? Can this momentum be sustained?

People are fired up here. I heard a talk radio guy, Jay Weber, this am and his voice was going up an octave imploring people to vote for Walker. I think they know his time is over.

2 weeks ago I would say gop retains senate and House and Walker wins.

Now I think gop retains senate, loses house narrowly and Walker and Schimel along with maybe 2-3 other gop governors and attorneys general will be ousted.
