The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Everybody, is this where we drop the bombshell that professional teams get stuff leaked all the time?

It happens to everyone. But if it is the only thing that gets screwed up, oh well. If the core competency of the athletic department is screwing up, it's another thing on the pile. I would also point out that professional schedules are things people are clamoring for. Other than 45 people on this message board, Maine managed to have something leaked that no one really gives a **** about.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Unclear where a Quinnipiac blog found this, because it isn't on Maine's website or Twitter feed, but this purports to be Maine's schedule:

https://twitter.com/QHockeyBlog/status/1004510205764427776

Any chance on the last two rows? They look cut off. Thankfully, I found Merrimack: https://twitter.com/MerrimackMIH/status/1004759802503925760

ETA: Never mind on the Maine one; I just clicked on it and got it. However, based on Merrimack's info, I have to take Miami off the completed list because it looks like their series with Providence is moving.

ETA^2: Looks like we know where that Miami/Providence series went, so they'll be back on the completed list.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

RPI's schedule came in, as well as more on UNH's non-con. Check respective threads for source data.

I'm not a member of eLynah; perhaps someone could help check on there who gets the first game in the Colgate series? I'm 97% sure it'll be 25-26 January, and that's the only thing left.

There is nothing posted on the schedule about Colgate. It does look like you have the correct weekend.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Northeastern OOC games confirmed yesterday by Coach Madigan:
Oct 12/13- @ Sacred Heart
Oct 19/20- home vs Union
Oct 27- home vs SCSU
Nov 24- home vs RIT
Dec 28/29- Catamount Cup against RPI and UAH respectively
Plus the Beanpot

Coach says the Hockey East schedule is still being finalized for NU.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

One Hockey East game to add to that, Uconn at NU on 11/9.

The rest of the conference schedule hasnt been finalized yet. It sounds like the way this is happening is Hockey East just sent everyone back roughly the same schedule as last season and left the schools to fend for themselves moving games into the new gaps at the end of the season, but they're also holding veto power over schedules and deciding whether certain games being moved gives teams too much of an advantage (having weekends where they only play on Saturday but their opponent played somebody else Friday for example) so anything already released that includes HEA should be taken with a grain of salt, as any other game movements could suddenly cause problems with the games that have already been "set".

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Quick correction Flag, you have Merrimack/NU on 12/8 in MC's column but it somehow didn't make it over to NU's column.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Based on info from the Round Table, I assume that CHC is going to go to CCT after going to SLU, so I'll stick that in there.
