Brady, if he's running outside, put the ball on his outside shoulder and give him a chance to catch it.

If the Pats hold on here, any whining Dol-fraud fan should be lectured about officiating the way we were about obstruction and pushing on field goals.

That being said, those were not good calls either.

That was clearly obstruction by the Patriots on that field goal and the Dolphins should have been awarded the game.

or their best runner apparently benched for a quarter.

Belichick was asked about it, and he gave his usual cryptic, unenlightening answer "to give us the best chance to win the football game". He didn't say "Next question", but you could tell he wasn't going to say any more. If it was disciplinary, I applaud it, even though it hurt in the short run.

I've now reached the point of having no clue what this team will do from quarter to quarter, let alone game to game.

But, as there's only two other good teams in the AFC, and they play in the same division, the Pats should make a few moves to boost their chances. Given that several teams are going nowhere, I'd look into deals with them for a Wilfork replacement (are the nose tackles for the NJY, Philly, Pittsburgh, Jax, etc any good?) for mid round draft pick. Do that and get Talib back after the bye week and who knows? Amendola and Gronk are now back. Vereen and hopefully Talib will be back soon. Linebackers are pretty good even with Mayo out. Really its up to the O to get in sync better, and that starts with Brady only throwing to the players wearing the same uniform as himself....

If the Steelers of the first 8 games play the Pats team we saw in the first half yesterday, it might send football back 70 years.

I wonder what the point differential is in the 3rd for the Pats, they have to be a minus half a million. They have been nothing short of awful in every 3rd quarter
