They're hanging in there okay but they're just not good enough or tough enough to overcome much adversity. By now most have forgotten about that absurd personal foul on NE, but it was that 15 yards which allowed the Jets to pin the Pats inside the 10 on the punt, which led to the safety and then the TD. Not an excuse, and not saying it was a nine-point call; it's just that NE simply isn't good enough to overcome anything right now.

Good drive at the end of the half, though. If the defense/ST can give them decent field position, they have a shot. They get the ball to start the third quarter. Would be nice to put together a drive.

Patriots with another TD, 20-9 now. Brady bought time with scramble. They are reviewing play now. TD overturned because receiver was out of bounds.

From a fan's perspective, that's an extremely satisfying win.

Lots of personnel issues remain, but they have a manageable schedule. We'll see what happens.

Nice to see them step up in that situation and kick @ ss on a division rival in front of a hostile crowd. Sanchez does suck, but the D has made a lot of bad QB's look good this year. This time the pass rush was there against a pretty good Jets line. Andre Carter (who's been playing well lately so its not just a fluke game) killed Furgerson who's a good player so its not like he was beating a RB helping out with the blocking. I think they've found a better game plan by keeping Nikovich in the run stopping/pass coverage role instead of trying to be an edge pass rusher. That was a great heads up play he made on the INT run back. Reminded me of the plays Bruschi used to make like that.

Also great game by Brady. Everybody's going to miss a few throws but his TD's were a thing of beauty. I do wish they'd sign back Moss though because if they did Gronkowsi and Welker would both be getting 100 yards a game. Even in the losses Gronk can't be covered.

I almost wish they had one more tough game the rest of the way to see if they're really playoff ready. Granted the AFC isn't that great this year but a late season game vs the Packers or Saints passing attack would tell us a lot.

I just don't think in the playoffs they can get away with a secondary like that. Yes, they do have an easy schedule the rest of the way and hopefully players can get healthy. That's a big tie breaker with 2 wins over the J-E-T-S. Now all they have to do is take care of business with Miami and Buffalo at the end of the season.

I finally watched the 2nd half, Bradys drive to start the 4th quarter was a thing of Beauty. He had the Jets d all F'ed up. It was great

I like the way they no huddled, they seem to do better when they don't give the opposing defense time to rest, substitute, and call the right defense. They should do that more when opposing teams are defensing them well.
