Thank you.. those two are sounding like a couple of old men who accidently ended up in the broadcast booth. Don't try to count how many times they have to correct themselves. It's wayyy too many. Listening to them is an exercise in frustration at this point. What's really embarrassing for Gil and Gino is that Zolack, who is on the sideline, constantly beats them to the punch on penalties, player names and the like. He really is the one guy who keeps listeners straight on what's happening.
Tought to admit it, but I have to agree. I love to listen to Gil, but down & distance has become a crapshoot, continually mixing up players, not keeping up with the action etc. The pipes are still tremendous; maybe he needs a spotter or something to keep him on track, especially with yardline, down & distance. Gino just flat out rambles. Score recaps are all over the place (and once you start reporting the lower score first like "...score at the half, Raiders 14-Detroit 21"), it is time to turn off the mic.
