( BTW there was no Turkey to worry about for us north of the 45th. Live just a few miles north of the 45th, which in our neck of the woods constitutes the border. One road in our area has a sign that sais, "Halfway to the North Pole". :D )

At any rate, the big winner is none other than Hab with 18 of 23 correct for a 78% batting average. Well Done, although I hate to give cudos to a Hab fan. Second place is shared by Sheba and Rinxtaxi with 17 each. OnMAA and Slewfoot tied for third with 16.

Noteworthy picks were:
- No one picked the Syracuse win over RPI on Friday.
- Sheba is the only one who picked Brown over Providence right
- Sheba and Rinxtaxi were the only two to pick Darty over Harvard.
- Posters were perfect ( All 9 had it correct) on five of the 23 games.
- Three posters were a perfect 4/4 on Sunday
- Sheba and Hab were a perfect 8/8 on Saturday...Now that is impressive.


Congrats to Hab for the Victory, and to Sheba for being the Bridesmaid.

Have no problem with "jumping the gun" due to vacation etc, but if you do, please change the title/subject of your post to reflect the proper week. The upcoming week should be "Week 9 lineup". I search for postings based on title.

Here is the week 9 lineup.

There are games on Wednesday and Thursday, so get yer picks in on time. A bunch of NC games on the slate. The only EC games are a home and home between travel partners Quinnipiac and Princeton.

Game of the week is Harvard at Providence.

Musings for the week.
- Can Quinny take a whopping lead in the standings. (They would with a sweep)
- Which Dartmouth team will show up this week ?
- Big NC game for the Crimson to stay in the hunt for an at large Bid, must win for them!
