The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Ah... it's never truly a BU-BC thread until one poster challenges another poster to a fight.

So glad we're over the whole "Let's join up against UVM" part of this thread. Normal equilibrium has been restored.

Looking at tonight's games, I'm thinking BC wins handily, and BU holds off a late onslaught by NU in a high-scoring affair.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

wow,

When are the "Your momma" jokes gonna start??

This is getting funnier by the minute.

Carry on.......:D

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

... now if the gms get boring, NESN cameras might as well focus on action in the stands... :) (kidding).

You guys taking this way too seriously... buy lots of popcorn.. enjoy the gms :)

Yeah sorry about that, I was trying to pad my case for Nobel Peace Prize Winner. I figure uniting BC and BU fans on a Beanpot thread is more impressive then anything Obama has ever done.

Flame On !!!!

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

I don't want to fight anyone... I assume that you're probably a nice guy and just enjoy being a d*bag on the internet. Come and meet me.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

From charlie wilson's war..."You know you've reached rock bottom when you're told you have character flaws by a man who hanged his predecessor in a military coup. "

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Hey, those girls made themselves look bad. The overweight guy can't help it. I think there's a difference.

fyi, in case your glasses are off and you can't tell, thats you
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... there's a great story behind that picture about how I'm an idiot. But I digress.

There are better pictures you could have chosen to make me look like a fool (I still don't know what I was doing in the first of these two).
I'll be in section 323 tonight if you want to not be a little b*tch and meet us in person.
are you in 5th grade, thats the last time someone invited me to fight
That didn't sound like an invite to a fight to me. It sounded like a "come to section 323 if you'd like to meet us in person."
you and tony appear to know what terrier520 looks like yet you aren't calling yourself a creep
We have actual reasons for calling Binckles a creeper. It's a little different.
Good lord, and I thought we had the biggest geek of them all here at BU with TBA. I now bequeath the title of Biggest Dork to TonytheTiger.   :D
It gets even better - I'm a math major too!

He can't go on a diet?

I wouldn't know, a friend of mine who is a BC student sent me the picture, I actually think the first one is nicer though. but its all debatable.

No, joe called me a creep for knowing what a poster looked like, yet you know what he looks like, and he apparently has no idea who you are, that was my point. I couldnt care less what your reasoning for calling him a creep is.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

No, joe called me a creep for knowing what a poster looked like

I think I know what most of the posters look like that are 'regulars' from BC, BU and NU (I've met a bunch of 'em as well).

I assumed that you trolled on facebook to find an embarrassing photo of someone you don't know - which I would find to be a little bit creepy, yes.

Maybe he can't?

I don't care where you got the picture, but that's a lie. What, did you ask someone to go on Facebook to go get a picture of me? That's a bit more ridiculous than you just going on to Facebook yourself and getting it, which is obviously what happened. There's a reason my profile isn't private. I don't really have anything to hide.
you know what he looks like, and he apparently has no idea who you are
This is incorrect.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Let's take a quick look at what has happened recently.

First, Frosted Flakes thought a picture of crying BU students was hilarious, as well as posts calling out a BU poster by making remarks about weight and supposed food addiction. Second, he doesn't think it's so grrreeaaatt that a BU fan, who TT (remember the character by this name in Diddy Kong Racing for N64?) must believe prefers store brand cereal, responds with a picture of an overweight BC fan. He is also dumb enough to state that "we rip on this guy," thus implying that he is a part of this dastardly group of people. Next, Chevy Chase thinks its an invalid comparison because the BU photo originated from a newspaper, and the BC one came from a cell phone. This is quickly debunked. But the game changes next when a picture is released of the Tiger himself, and he is revealed not to be the cereal character, or the ridiculously easy to beat video game clock thing, or even a sex-addicted golfer, but instead he is a typical, run of the mill person who appears to have had his nutritious breakfast of Frosted Flakes that morning. The man himself is not OK with this picture of him being posted on the internet for all to see. Ignoring the obvious hypocricy here, Clark Kent himself swoops in and challenges the paparazzi-esque BU poster to come visit him tonight at the game to civily discuss his posting of this picture, perhaps over a bowl of TD Garden Frosted Flakes. TT sees this picture and resorts to a pie-in-face response of 'there's a reason i look like an idiot!!!!!!'.

In the words of Peter Griffin while being Matt Damon's neck, these are facts.

I found this picture of Deuce on his Facebook

Well, it's certainly more impressive than anything your team has ever done. Then again, that's not too difficult so that's not saying much.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

who TT must believe prefers store brand cereal...
First off, this is hilarious. :p
The man himself is not OK with this picture of him being posted on the internet for all to see.
Whoa whoa, where did I ever say that?
TT sees this picture and resorts to a pie-in-face response of 'there's a reason i look like an idiot!!!!!!'
I didn't say "there's a reason I look like an idiot," I said the story behind that picture tells a tale about how I'm an idiot.

And as for "resorting to a pie-in-face response," what should I have said that would be acceptable to you, Slushie? Should I have gotten all upset about it? Somehow, being able to laugh at a funny picture of me is a bad thing?

This would be incorrect. He seems rather unbothered by it (as he already has his facebook open to the public anyway), although I assume that he (like me) finds Deuce's* compulsion to look up pictures of him and post one on here to be a little weird.

*fixed.

Dumb a s s, I didn't post the picture of him. I merely replied to the post that already had done so. Try to keep up, will ya?

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

I do think that laughing at the embarrassing pictures of BU fans while not thinking ones of BC fans are okay is hypocritical and Tony set himself up for that one.

I try not to partake in the bashing of yankeefn over his weight. I think it's unnecessary (especially since his stupid posts are so easy to bash without having to make it personal).
