Further proof that no matter how bad your althletic department might be, there's probably an outfit out there thats even worse than the bums you currently have employed. :rolleyes:

2 of the NSIC/WCHA schools play tonight. St. Cloud at D1-AA Maine is going on right now, and Minnesota-Duluth takes on Central Washington at 8. The Duluth game will be on CBS College Sports TV tonight.

Its a running joke over in the GLIAC forum at D2football.com. Indianapolis is pretty much LSSU's team because the greyhounds are only in the GLIAC for Football(and if you wanna get technical, swimming and diving) and Lake State doesn't have Football. And for some reason, Indy is included in the North Division of the GLIAC for football, meaning they kinda get hosed on travel because the South Division team are all closer to them. Pretty much means they're always making a trip to the UP every year.

Still not even sure who I want to win in the UMD-CWU game. There is the part of me that kinda wants to see UMD win so they have a shot at homefield in the playoffs so that GVSU would have to go up there to get a little REVENGE served up cold there, that and I hear Duluth is a pretty fun road trip. ;) But then again, my finances probably wouldn't let me make that roadie that weekend. :( :( And well, its hard to say what SOS will be like at the end of the season.

Then there's the part of me that would like to see CWU win, because they'll going to need all the help they can get to make the playoffs, as their conference doesn't help them out much there. Plus with all of the former Western Washington players on their squad, it would be nice to see those kids make a run and rub it into the faces of the Administration at Western Washington.

Central Washington now currently holds the title of "The Man" now.

After the Central Washington win, I couldn't find any records of their yearly results anywhere on their website, but remembered this site here.... http://michigan-football.com/ncaa/ncaa_ii.htm and I pretty much used that site from there on to determine "The Man", and thus why I don't have a whole lot of dates from that point on.

If anybody can fill in those missing dates or track it back from an earlier champion, it would be a big help as well. In theory here, all NC winners were the Man, even if it was just an interim title.
