Re: Tennis anyone?

Ana Ivanovic lost again. :(

#11M Cilic, #17M Ljubicic and #20M Warinka were upset on the men's side.

The big upset on the women's side is French Open champ Francesca Schiavone going down in three sets. Other seeds advanced.

#3M Djokovic is still playing in the 4th set, down 2-1 but up a break at 4-2.

Re: Tennis anyone?

Tuesday's big names include #1W Serena and #2M Nadal on Centre Court.

#3W Wozniacki is the third match on Court #1 and #16W Sharapova is the third match on Court #2. Court #18 features #6W Stosur and #18 and 22M Querrey and Isner.

Re: Tennis anyone?

That was the best rally of the day right there. Djokovic serving up 3-2.

He wins. Today was the longest day in Wimbledon history.

Both French Open women's finalists have lost in the first round at Wimbledon.

That sort of thing used to happen a lot more on the men's side than the women's.

Re: Tennis anyone?

Tomorrow will feature Roddick, Venus and Djokovic on Centre Court. Clijsters, Hewitt and Federer are on Court 1.

Considering both the USA and England have minor football games tomorrow, ratings and attendance should be good. :D

Re: Tennis anyone?

Llodra wins the first set against Roddick, 6-4. As the set went on, Roddick adjusted and started getting it to Llodra's backhand more, but he was already down the break and couldn't make it up. But if he can continue to do that, Roddick should end up being okay.

Re: Tennis anyone?

Two key moments turned the second set: Roddick holding serve from 15-40 in the first game and then breaking Llodra at love to win the set. ESPN missed both moments -- the first one while chatting on the set and the second one while showing the final sloppy game of a Clijsters blowout.

They've been covering tennis for 25 years and still haven't figured it out.
