Serena starting to Serena in the semis. Up a set, and now up a break in the 2nd.

Isner/Anderson right now is great for pace of play. Ace after ace.

Edit: Apparently this started at 8am so maybe not. Figured since the fifth set may only be a half hour that's how the others went.

Isner is serving first, so a break basically wins it for him. Surprisingly he's looking the most exhausted despite Anderson going 24 games in the fifth with Fed in the last match.

Remember Isner went 70-68 against Mahut 8 years ago.

Good Lord I'm getting old. Old enough to have been aware of Steffi Graff when she first hit big time and after a YouTube tennis rabbit hole venture just realized she's been retired since 1999! Ugh.

Unforced errors ends up being the difference. 59 for Isner to just 24 for Anderson.

Nadal always seems to have trouble with The Joker. Read he's down 27-25 all time to him, which is astounding given Nadal's dominance on clay. Good for tennis though to have the dude back.

I think she injured herself in the 2nd set.

Either way, after all this time off, to make it this far just shows how darn good she is....finishing 2nd? Helluva run.
