Tech at Wisconsin: Prune Juice and Broken Hips

Re: Tech at Wisconsin: Prune Juice and Broken Hips

That would be your interpretation. I was speaking more along the lines of statistics. We moved to the middle of the pack in the WCHA after last night in PP%.

Wow to the amount of stupid penalties by Tech so far. When their PK is that awful, that's not something I would recommend for them.

Re: Tech at Wisconsin: Prune Juice and Broken Hips

Barry Richter was the most over-rated d-man in school history.
Chris Nelson was a better player but received no press due to the media sucking up to Barry's daddy Pat Richter.

hmm, I thought Barry was a pretty good college player, and so-so NHL'er. good speed, put up decent points at UW.

Chris Nelson was one of my all-time favs at UW. underrated for sure. much like some others from those teams like forwards Brett Kurtz, Jason Francisco, etc.

Is Nelson still playing? I'm surprised he never made the SHOW

Re: Tech at Wisconsin: Prune Juice and Broken Hips

What a series. The Badgers win the 2 games by a combined 14-2. Is MTU going to lose their division 1 status after this year? Brendan Smith is hot right now and we're going to need him to come up it next weekend against UND. We expected 4 points in this series and got 4 points. Mission accomplished.

Re: Tech at Wisconsin: Prune Juice and Broken Hips

That.... was a good night. I have gained respect for Madison. From cougars to making friends with uw players to getting beer poured on me by a disgruntled player's gf to roaming the streets yelling various cheers and having a sort of street walk speed dating, to ians where some girl starts kissing my hand upon introduction to yelling out the windows at random uw people. It was pretty good.

Barry tried to be an offensive d-man where Nellie stayed back and protected the zone. Nelson was the technical director for the "Miracle on Ice" movie.

You don't need to be a vagina about destroying us, we know we suck, that's old news ;)

Hopefully Phil ends up in the hospital after having to do his dorky sign thing 14 times :D

Re: Tech at Wisconsin: Prune Juice and Broken Hips

Barry Richter calling the game... nice!
I replayed the games on Sunday. Richter should stick to selling insurance. I know he just fills in, but there's gotta be somebody in this city that doesn't put viewers of a hockey game to sleep. PB had to keep asking Richter, "...Barry, your thoughts on the game so far....".

PB is brutal as well, can't put it on Barry. I can't listen to PB's play by play anymore, if i have to hear anymore, "On the play" or "Coming out on the break" Im going to puke.. its horrid and the WPT guys gotta be boozin up there or something because they are horrid as well. Rob Vogel is such a tool. I'm so frustrated about everything about our TV situation, nothing at this point is good about it..

That may be an insult to vaginas.

Phil was actually doing 2, 4, 6 and 1, 3, 5, 7 WE WANT MORE!

Never seen that before. :D

Re: Tech at Wisconsin: Prune Juice and Broken Hips

It took the student section way too long to figure that one out.
To be fair, most of the Misfits would be completely baffled as well, and we only take up 1 section at the JMSIA. I can't imagine trying to get an entire end of a two-tier arena to catch on.

Its called reading comprehension...not that difficult...the guy has oversized signage to help people out...
