Super Bowl XLVIII and NFL Thread: Sherman's March to Jersey

Re: Super Bowl XLVIII and NFL Thread: Sherman's March to Jersey

If he's on my team, who cares as long as he's giving the opposing team a really hard time out there.

Enough former players have come out, it really shouldn't be all that shocking anymore. Maybe if it had been a couple of years ago perhaps, but now, eh. Hell, how much of a story line has that Gay NBA guy even been this season? ESPN is all over that league, covers it wall to wall. Where's the big story on that at right now?
Last I knew the "gay NBA " guy wasn't playing, but I don't follow NBA much anymore. I think he was free agent and not a great player to begin with so..

I think we'd be more shocked if he announced he is a virgin and a born again Christian.

Who cares?

Michael Sam is a no-win for teams unless he can make a team and stay.

If they pass on drafting him its because he's gay.
If they draft, and then subsequently cut him its because he's gay.

Luckily he won't be that expensive when a team does decide to take a chance on him and the PR circus, as hes projected 3-5th round.

Football and the nfl in particular are full of born again Christians. You'd only be shocked if you never saw the post game prayer huddles that have like half of each team taking part.

He was SEC Defensive Player of the Year; it doesn't seem implausible that he'll be good enough to stick in the NFL.

I just hope he gets to play in the NFL. That way he'll be not crying on Sundays.

Uh ohs. Darren Sharper is looking at serious prison time.

Apparently drugged girls with morphine and Ambien and raped them while unconscious.

Still a better teammate than Michael Sam!

Bucs released their new jersey look today. Somebody else will have to pick up the slack and link it, but I like the look. Not sure what the Red jerseys look like exactly, but they are probably the first in a "modernization" of team jerseys in the NFL.

The Seattle Seahawks would like to say "Hi"

They're awful IMO. Ugliest uni's I've ever seen. Put them in an Arena where they belong.

They're actually uglier than Seattle's.
