NHL got it right and at least had Zac Brown Band for some of the musical entertainment.

someone said "let's do bruno mars". but that was met with "but there are only 2 songs anyone knows...." so they countered, "he can do a chili peppers song, then we bring them out for 1 song as we can't really trust them with more than that."
a moment of silence...
then "brilliant!!!" and a guiness commercial.

win-win.
