Welcome aboard. Nice to have a new team represented on here. When is Cortland going to carry over their success in every other sport to their hockey programs? :)

Im a RPI ( D.1) fan and my sister goes to cortland so shes like (NYhg) why doesent cortland have a thread so here it is :).... be patient :P

Minus 1 for lack of creativity on a thread title. There's got to be some gym teacher reference that could be thrown in there.

didnt think it would get any views haha too much football out there....a comedian last friday said a joke (at cortland) last weekend that went over everyones hed....his reply "What is this a gym teacher school"? :)

I've seen as many Cortland games as Oswego games - except at Cortland, the Plattsburgh fans always outnumber the Cortland fans ;)

last years home attendance at home against oswego? 733.... plattsburgh for example 311... i see your point ;)

I'd imagine that atleast half if not more of those fans were cheering for Oswego given that Cortland is the closest opponent the Lakers had last year. They was also a very healthy contingent of Laker fans at the Utica Aud last year for a Tuesday game.

Unfortunately, they set the heat at Zero + the number of Cortland fans, so – it is always below freezing, the old exposed Hobart rink was usually warmer than Cortland’s.

Maybe in November, but any other time in the season, hell no. Cortland is cold, but you aren't exposed to the elements like you were at Hobart. Hobart once the sun went down, you were seeing temps in the teens with the wind chill making it feel like a lot colder. Those heating tubes above the bleachers didn't do crap until they got the thick fabric rolls in there, even then though you had to be right underneath it to feel heat.

hey guys one more thing.... i have limited access to much more than box scores for the games living in upstate ny (being a RPI D.I fan) if your team plays Cortland and you have any little bits of info on the game id appreciate it if you would post them here.
