Obviously, this will be very, very bad if all non-conference games are cancelled.

If all airplane travel away games are cancelled by other colleges then ASU will go from having 14 home games and 20 road games on the schedule, which sucked to begin with, to no home games?????

Best for NCAA to just cancel the season if this continues.
Why would the NCAA cancel the whole season? Having flight troubles would greatly affect ASU, Denver, CC and the Alaska’s. Alabama-Huntsville busses most of it’s trips.

Would be a bogus season if some teams only get to play half their games, none at home, while the rest only play 80% of their games. Now if Holy Cross & others want to bus to Tempe because they can't afford to fly then let them do it & let's play the season.

This is what the Ivy League schools do every year. Sit in the top-20 polls for a month while they haven't even played a game. Then when everyone else had 8-10 games under their belt they decide to actually start playing games.

Now that I think about it, that certainly does seem to be the case.

Hey Sol

What do you have for the home/road games? I think 4 of them should be considered 'neutral'. Here's what I've got:

Home (2x) - Alaska, Brown, Clarkson, Umass-Lowell
Away (2x) - Denver, Michigan Tech, Ohio State, Quinnipiac, St. Cloud State, UConn
Neutral (2x) - ASU Tournament, Holiday Face-Off

That's 24 games - I'm not sure on the other 10 games or 5 opponents? (not counting Holy Cross) sounds like I'm missing 3 opponents (6 games) for home and 2 road opponents (4 games)?

I don't have anything to add. Although frustrating, Coach Powers isn't releasing the schedule, yet. He's says too much up in the air at this point. I maybe am a pessimist but I don't interpret that to be good news.....

Nice! Seems like they've been playing each other regularly for the last several years.

Clarkson, and the other non-Ivy programs in the ECAC (Colgate, Quinnipiac, St Lawrence, RPI and Union) have more non-league games to fill (12) than any other conference-affiliated program.

It’s unsurprising that they would find themselves talking to the one (AORN) school who has nothing BUT non-league games to offer.

I hope these incidents never happen again in the future.........

It happens, but the solution is for fans to let the offender know that it's not acceptable. Bruce Coles, a black man from Montreal, was an excellent forward for RPI in the late '80s and early '90s. He went on to play for the Canadian National Team and many seasons in the AHL. At Harvard, I was sitting next to a young man that yelled racially-based taunts at Coles. They weren't slurs, but things he (and probably he alone) thought were clever, such as variants on the theme of "Give him a basketball." To my regret (particularly since I had my hispanic Litte Brother with me at the time) I let him yell a number of times before I told him to knock it off. He initially denied that they were racially-based, to which I responded with an expletive that the BB/BS program might not have approved of either. To the kid's credit, however, he thought about it and later admitted he was wrong.

Right on!
