Sun Devil Hockey

Anybody see or hear of any updates on Johnny Walker? We badly need him back for the series against Minnesota this upcoming weekend.
 
Happy 100th season to Minnesota! Still looking hot, although this was the first game they trailed in this season. Walker back in but he seemed rusty. Hopefully ASU doesn't get swept this series.
Coach Powers had a good interview about overcoming obstacles prior to this game.

Minnesota missing 3 top players & still swept ASU, dang. I guess one positive point was that ASU has been the only team to lead the Gophers in any game this season, and then in both games of the series, but again MN was down 3 excellence players.
Heck of a goal by Walker, will be on replay, was the top viewed college hockey goal of the night, potentially of the season.

Not quite "The Ralph" but it should be mighty fine. Would be great to play the Sioux down there! Many fans there in the winter, probably 1/3rd of the state of ND. However note, we go into an arena to cool off, not to warm up...... :) Unfortunately I haven't been able to make my annual Sioux game cause of this dang Covid......

Hoping you get into the NCHC so I can make the trip once in awhile.
 
Fox Sports Arizona & Fox Sports Go will carry tonight's & Sunday nights games against Wisconsin. Puck drop at 6pm (mountain time). Should be a competitive series.
 
Devils down 5 players due to Covid, 2 forwards, 2 defense, 1 goalie Brought in extra goalie from the club team.
Turns out this kind of mimics Wisconsin's personnel situation in the first series.
 
Only home game in 20-21, against USNTDP. 2 future Sun Devils playing for them. Both games live-streamed but appears to be a misprint, have to check both sites.

Sun Devil Hockey plays their only two home games of the season this week, hosting the U.S. National Team Development Program for two exhibitions. The series begins Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. MST, presented by Sprouts Farmers Market, and wraps up Friday, Feb. 5 again at 7 p.m. MST, presented by Gila River Hotels and Casinos. Due to COVID-19 protocols, fans will not be allowed to attend but game one will be streamed on ASU Live Stream 2 while game one is on ASU Live Stream 1. These games were planned to help fill in a 23-day gap in the Sun Devils’ schedule before hitting the road again to finish out the 2020-21 season.
