Re: Still Complaining About ESPN...

Cannot buy "Of Miracles And Men" unless I'm missing something. I hope that it just hasn't been released yet.

Re: Still Complaining About ESPN...

The documentary "Red Army" is coming out this weekend. You should see if a local theater is going to show it.

It's coming out again? It was here a few weeks back. Only one theater, though. One of the artsy fartsy ones where the movie-goers call them "films" and refer to the "cinema community."

Did you go see it, or because of the theater, you didn't?

The trailer makes it look like a much longer version of Of Miracles and Men. Regardless of where it's showing, it looks interesting,

I didn't see it, mostly because of the timing of when it was showing, and the fact I rarely see movies in any theater. I do really want to see it, and will probably buy it, regardless. Already saved it on Netflix.

Re: Still Complaining About ESPN...

Apparently it's opening in Edina (figures!) on the 27th of this month. Oakdale, MN is the other theater that I saw. Other than that, nothing in the Twin Cities metro area.

We may on Sunday. I'm pretty sure that I'll enjoy it, but if my wife does- then it's a less biased (for hockey) opinion. Maybe I post about it in the movie thread.

I'm intrigued by ESPN winning the broadcast rights to the World Cup of Hockey. Wonder who they'll put on the mic.

I'm more curious as to whether or not they'll actually air the games or if it's another attempt to thumb their noses at the NHL for leaving them.

Just a guess
Buccigross
Thorne
and TSN talent since Rogers got the Canadian rights and ESPN owns a piece of TSN.
