St. Lawrence Skating Saints Lake Placid Edition

Re: St. Lawrence Skating Saints Lake Placid Edition

Shero named GM for NJ. Glad to see he's back in the mix, although... NJ.

So disappointed he didn't land in Boston. NJ is probably a better situation for him but, dang, I wanted him to be the guy that turned the Bruins around. Congrats to Ray nonetheless. Simply put, he is one of the classiest guys in the business and I'm sure will do great things in NJ.

Have the Clarkson games been scheduled yet?

Not that I've heard, but I threw out a guess yesterday (back a few posts, don't know how to Quote multiples) that they will be November 13 & 14, since that looks like the only weekend both Clarkson and SLU have open. Unless they play one on a Tuesday, which I wouldn't like. It's just a guess on my part, and wouldn't put it on your schedule.

In non food news... SLU goalie recruit Ryan Wischow has been drafted by Green Bay of the USHL in the 9th round.

To those who haven't seen this yet, someone created a new forum for Saints fans. Looks pretty cool, might have to give it a try! :)

A nice feather in Coach Carvel's hat to come home with a bronze medal. Considering the rosters of Russia and Canada in particular......a bronze was a good result. Great experience for coach and great exposure for our program!!!! Way to go Greg!!!

Considering Canada's roster was about $50 million over the salary cap, I think Team USA's bronze is one heck of an accomplishment.
