St. Lawrence Skating Saints Lake Placid Edition

Re: St. Lawrence Skating Saints Lake Placid Edition

Anyone have any insight as to what next years schedule is looking like? I'm mostly interested in our non-league portion as I hope we manage to have a tough enough schedule to help later on down the season with the pairwise. It would also be nice if we could manage to schedule a team in that plays on the larger Olympic sized ice surface to give us a little bit more experience on that size sheet ... Here's hoping! :)

Yes, I have it. It's a great schedule that will give Olympic sheet exp in alt. years.

Are we getting back into scheduling UNH @ Lake Whittemore? Something in Lake Placid? Heading west to one of the big sheets out there?

Seem to remember a trip to Penn St for next season being mentioned, that is a quality opponent too.

Are the extra Clarkson games back on the shelf for now? While good $$$ games, I (along with most of you) would like it to just be the league games.

Edit: let's not forget the Europe trip this summer. Very strong chance that most of those games will be on large sheets.

I'd be happy to email you Brandon. I am not posting anything here for the benefit of some others.

Good point about Italy

It's 6 Hockey East, 2 Big 10, 2 NCHC and 2 AHA

That's fair. Brandon.webber1015@Gmail.com

Based on the conference's you've listed, that is indeed potentially a very nice schedule.

Re: St. Lawrence Skating Saints Lake Placid Edition

Hockey East = UNH for 2 (Olympic Ice Surface), Northeastern for 2, UVM for 2.

Big Ten = Penn State for 2.

NCHC = Miami for 2.

AHA = RIT and Niagara.

How did I do? ;):p

I'd love to see the BU/BC series come back.

Guessing two against Miami of Ohio, two against RIT, unsure about the rest.

Would you be willing to post on the schedules thread? I can understand if you don't want to do so on this thread.

Re: St. Lawrence Skating Saints Lake Placid Edition

Well, it's certainly not looking good for the ECAC at this point as Yale and Quinnipiac have both bowed out in the first round yesterday and so far tonight Harvard is trailing UNO 2-0! Fingers crossed they can turn it around here soon! :(

I feel like they've had some good chances, though, off the post, finding Vesey open out front, etc. Getting into a 5-3 PP situation was not smart, though. There's still time.

Yes, they sure have had their chances. I actually thought that Harvard carried the play the majority of the first period. The difference was UNO buried their chances and you guys haven't ... So far!
