St. Lawrence & Clarkson @ RPI & Union (2/5, 2/6)

Re: St. Lawrence & Clarkson @ RPI & Union (2/5, 2/6)

I'm guessing an RPI guy by the :) -- I believe Brad Tapper had a big year in that timeframe, not sure if he netted 30 though.

31-and I believe the last time an ECAC player scored over 30. It seems to be getting tougher each year as scoring is down somewhat from the 90's. (even though seasons are a bit longer for some players)

Tapper was the last with 31, in 99-00.

Trevelyan potted 25 his Junior year in 04-05, probably one of the closest to get 30 in the past decade.

And, while I know one poster has his reasons not to, I'll be sporting the road #15 SLU jersey this weekend, feel free to say hello if you wish.

I can never forget that 3-3 tie with Clarkson. My wife(at the time) went into labor at the end of the second period. We stayed for the end of the game though. We RPI fans are tough!!

having trouble recalling a RPI fan staying until the end :D

I wonder what these guys are doing this weekend.

We thought of every game as an event-we were usually the last ones to leave, win or lose. Got to meet lots of other wonderful fans and especially families of the players.

Re: St. Lawrence & Clarkson @ RPI & Union (2/5, 2/6)

I will be at both games this weekend. No matter what the outcome, I am extremely proud of the performance of this team this year. In a pre -season poll I picked the Saints to finish #4 - and that was ONLY because my hockey heart bleeds Scarlet & Brown - who would have though we would be where we are? GO SAINTS!

Re: St. Lawrence & Clarkson @ RPI & Union (2/5, 2/6)

It's going to be a great weekend. We will get 4 points, we get to see great games being played, we get to see great former players, the band is back, and will miss a big snowstorm. I feel lucky :D

The world is upside down. We aren't supposed to get the snow. You are. :D

It's all Obama's fault for his comment about snow in DC last year.

Absolutely-we have had more snow in South Jersey this year that we have had in the central Adirondacks! Worlds are colliding! Dogs mating with cats! Have to blame somebody:eek:

I am glad the snow is south of us. I think it would have put a big damper on things for many fans, as far as coming to the HFH. I know I would have stayed home and watched it on the internet, because my car would have never made it to Troy.
