St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

1:09 left on the SCSU PP in the 3rd.

4-3 SCSU after two.

Only thing worse than St. Cloud's second period was MN's first. Its too bad that pretty goals don't count more, 'cause MN has been cashing in on the ugly ones, which is what we need to do to win this game.

Wooger going off on compost sticks again. "Stick just broke, he didn't pay enough for it. He should have got one of those $200 ones." :D

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

"is reducing a lead from 3 to 2 cutting it in half. um no. If MN scores another goal, THEN it would be cutting it in half."

No, it wouldn't. It'd be cutting it by 2/3. Half of 3 is 1.5. This makes your criticism of their math even worse, since you don't know what half of 3 is.

"If MN scores another goal..." That would make the score go from 4-2 to 4-3 (which happened). Or down 2 goals to 1. Which is cutting it in half. Should i group you in with Brent in math-deficient posters?

Looks like a high-intensity 3rd period shaping up, I look forward to watching the tape of the game when i get home.

I like when he does that. They should go back to wood.
A decent wood stick is $45-50. I can get a decent year-old composite model for that or just a little more. Once I got used to the different feel of the composite, and since I don't take slappers, there's not a quality argument for going back to a wood stick.

Listen dip****, we were CLEARLY talking about the lead starting at 4-1 and going to 4-3. A 3 goal lead being reduced to a 1 goal lead is not cutting it in half - it's cutting it by 2/3.

If you're going to harp on the commentators for screwing up on it going from 4-1 to 4-2, I'm not going to let you get away with making the same *'ing mistake essentially that they did.

Potulny's fighting a losing battle with that male-patterened baldness. It's almost as bad as that woman in my office.

And here we go, and SCSU screws up the intermission thing, and the ice is terrible now.
