St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

4-2 SCSU. Schroeder scores (Maybe Cepis got it). Weird pop on the puck and Dunn couldn't control it.

Goal's being reviewed, not sure why. It looked clean to me.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

Nice, right off Dunn's stick and in.
Ick, 2 weak goals.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

Its funny... the Gophers score on two flukey plays but can't finish any of their real chances. My suggestion, give them wide open looks and well be fine.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

It's amazing how MN can miss the net so much yet score two goals on what could legitimately not be called shots.

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

after the 2nd MN goal "And that cuts the Husky lead in half!" Last time i checked, 2 was not half of 3. That's your fine gopher hockey commentating!

Honestly, if you're looking for a reason to gripe about commentating, you can do better than a math error, you tool.

Brent: reducing a 3 goal lead to a 2 goal lead is cutting the lead by 1/3, not 1/2. :p

Re: St Cloud State @ Minnesota 1/22/10

Penalty. PP for MN.

And it wasn't a math error. 2 is half of 4.

You know what he meant. It went from 4-1 to 4-2.

I know what he meant, but the lead was three goals. Cutting it in half would mean making the game 4-2.5 - unless MN is getting credit for half a goal for missing the net 5 times, they can't get half a goal. :D
