How is it that year after year gopher fans can never realize that when SCSU plays UMTC this is SCSU's Championship series. Oh sure, gopher fans would like to see UMTC come out of the weekend with more points, but for SCSU and SCSU fans its a whole different game. For SCSU and their fans Beat UMTC and the MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED, hoist the trophy raise the banners for we SCSU have defeated UMTC!!!.

And that was a horrid PP, at least for getting an actual SOG.

I'm at work and got to watch the game for a minute when i was making my dinner. If i was around for more than 90 seconds of air time, i'm sure i could come up with a laundry list of 'em :)

And even after pointing that out, Brent still (incorrectly) defends his math. Is 2 half of 4? yes. is reducing a lead from 3 to 2 cutting it in half. um no. If MN scores another goal, THEN it would be cutting it in half.

LeBlanc had a breakaway, beats Kangas 5-hole, but gets pipe. Gophs are lucky it's not 5-2.

Yeah, but you can go the other way and say we're lucky that the Gophers have screwed some great chances, or this could be 4-4.

It's been a horrid game for MN in that regard. You could easily come up with a drinking game based on number of times MN misses the net or fails to get a puck through.

No, it wouldn't. It'd be cutting it by 2/3. Half of 3 is 1.5. This makes your criticism of their math even worse, since you don't know what half of 3 is.
