Softball; Because It's Bigger

Great B1G tournament showing from the Wolverines. Knocked out conference #1 seed Oregon on Thursday, host Purdue on Friday and defeated conference #2 seed UCLA (who had won the season series 3-0) to be B1G tourney champs!
I'm mostly glad one of those PAC10 schools that we let into the B1G didn't win.

Hoping to ride this momentum into NCAAs but it will be tough traveling to Austin. Proud of this team for what they accomplished last week.

A Mike White coached team pulling their usual post season choke job.

A bit early this year.

Oklahoma won all three of their games by run rule to advance to the Super Regionals.. It is early, but Texas A&M is in a world of shit trailing Liberty 6-0 in the 2nd inning.

A&M came back and was up 11-7 going into the bottom of the 7th. At 11-9 Liberty hit a liner back to the pitcher that knocked her glove off to make it 11-10. Next batter walked to load the bases, then next batter hit to bring in the tying run. Fly out to left field makes it 11-11 and going to extras.

A&M wins 14-11 in 8. Liberty went with the unorthodox strategy of trying to beat the #1 team in the country while committing six errors.

Went to bed after Liberty took the lead in the top of the 6th. Wasn't surprised A&M made it close, was more surprised they didn't win it.

I was hoping Nebraska would have beaten Tennessee so Jordy Bahl, who transfered from Oklahoma last off season to her home state of Nebraska, would have gotted to face the team she lead to the WCWS championship last year. Alas...
