Rooting for the Scandinavian countries (after USA), just on principle. Finland would need to borrow a million and a half people just to match Mass.'s population. Sweden is a million or so shy of Georgia. Amazing that they can go toe-to-toe with Canada, the US, or Russia.

Finland technically isn't a Scandinavian country, although a small part of it is on the peninsula. But, your point stands. These two countries are machines when it comes to producing hockey talent.

Fair enough. I was just there last winter. The Swedish language is close enough to German that I could almost sort of read most signs. Finnish, on the other hand, is just baffling. Closer to Eastern Europe.

So . . . rooting for Nordic countries, I guess.

Bingo! The Finnish language is related just two others, Estonian and Hungarian. It's real goofy.

don't know what canada's d pairings are but the fact they could trot out pietrangelo, keith, weber and doughty as a top 4 is just absurd

My guys have to be better in the attacking zone and not let the Finns hang around like they did in the 2nd.

Just watched the entire Men's 4 x 10 Cross-Country Relay at Stream Men's 4 x 10 (in case you want to watch).

#2 seed Sweden dominates for 1st! #3 seed Russia finishes 2nd and #9 seed France 3rd.

#1 seed Norway struggled on each leg and finished 4th.
