I know myself, and at least four other fans/families staying at The Depot..........my family is catching both games Friday, so depending on outcome Friday evening as to post game activities!
and after viewing parking at Ridder, I agree cab will be our way to get there once we park at the hotel!
Parking is not that bad. If the lots or ramp right by Ridder are full, you can go down
the street a block or so and there is parking around Mariucci Arena (where the men play).
That said... If you have a cold beverage or two before... the cab is a good way to go.
Regarding Saints17, I volunteered to pick him up from any airport he could fly in to; Appleton, Green Bay, or Minneapolis... I met him last year at Zig Zag's and we've kept in touch ever since. That is the beauty of D 3 hockey; a small group of passionate fans that love the game for the game. I can't wait to meet more of you. See you out there!
Is Saints17 making the trip?!?!
Stub and Herbs is across University Ave. from the football stadium and has a good selection of beers (changes monthly) and good food, too. It's probably about 2 1/2 blocks from the Ridder. There's a Buffalo Wild Wings right across from the Mariuchi, but it's not as interesting.
can u watch the frozen 4 games on the computer? also ik this is random but is the snc team sponsored? (Bauer etc) ? do they have good facilities?
Just got a call from the ticket office. I'll be joining a bunch of you in Section 12 because I guess my original seats had a partially obstructed view because of a pole.Section 13 row 7. They look almost identical to the seats I normally have the Cornerstone.
Dinkytown is near the Ridder and is a large University hang out. There are local restaurants there like Mesa Pizza, Al's Breakfast, Annie's (burgers), and chains like Five Guys, Potbelly, McDonalds, Subway, etc.
How many SNC fans are staying at the Residence Inn at the Depot? Tina set aside a block of rooms. There must be something close to there that could be a good meeting place. It is three and a half miles from Ridder though.
