Good news. I'll be very happy to get back to LP for the championships. If true, I can't wait.

Carvel posted some pics of the new locker room on Twitter this evening. Looks like some great renovations!!

Not sure yet what, if any, games I'll be able to make this year. Right now, I'm off of work Oct 4-18, Nov 15-29, and then late December to Jan 10. Looking at the schedule, I could possibly head back north to make a couple games at Appleton, but not sure if it will work out or not. A month and a day until first puck drop!!

Thanks, Brandon, for posting those photos. Locker room loks great. I hope you can make it to several games this season.

A question about this year's incoming class. I believe that F Matt Carey (Greg's brother), F Connor Cunningham, (Jeremiah's brother), F Alex Hagen, G Kyle MacDonald, and D Ross McMullan are enrolled, but was uncertain if recently-"committed"/ signed F Sean McGovern was in school now or plans to enroll next fall. Any updates would be appreciated.

The 5 that the coach is referring to are Carey, Hagen, McGovern, MacDonald and McMullen. McGovern is on campus.

Thanks for the update. It sounds like some very good players have joined the Saints. Welcome aboard, guys, and and I hope that you enjoy your years at SLU as much as us fans will enjoy watching you.

I have heard from 2 people that Carey will not be suiting up this year.

Not sure when the course closes up. I would like to think they would be open until mid-late October, but that could be totally dependant on weather.

One of the several benefits of living in Florida now: that question never needs to be asked ;). Instead, I'll be asking "How much damage to the credit card for these 18 holes"

The roster is now on the SLU Website, Matt Carey is not listed, and it includes 24 players. I picked us 9th in the ECAC Pick the Standings thread, with the expectation that Matt will not be suiting up. Doing so was not fun, but I think this will obviously be a transition year............then, look out. I just hope that Matt is OK and he is not suiting up because of a reason or reasons that might be related to any health-related issues.

Never forgotten by everybody that knew them as well. I know that they remain in a far better place, and that's the only thing that makes any sense to what those terrorist ******** did on 9/11/01.

Carey is fine physically and played in last Saturday's golf tournament. I am pretty sure it is an eligibility issue. Cunningham and Coffey (believe his brother played a couple of years ago at SLU) were introduced as freshman along with Carey, Hagen, McGovern, MacDonald and McMullen at the golf tournnament. Not sure why they are not listed on website - maybe they are still trying out.

Thanks for the update. I'm happy that Matt Carey is OK, and asssume that he will be a welcome addition at some point.
