Silly joke but here goes. After a "cream puff" schedule to start the the season the Chocolate Eau Clare got munched for dessert by St. Norbert. :) (for some reason for years I have associated UWEC with the bakery confection :D that is like an elongated cream puff filled filled with chocolate cream and drizzled with chocolate frosting)

Outstanding effort from SNC tonight...This squad is really showing the ability to get the puck down low.
Took advantage of their opportunities and cleaned up around the Blugold net.
The Hill, Bradshaw, Cooper line was magic tonight with a total of 10 points!!

Nuprof, really? I guess u never got to taste what this cream puff tastes like last year because the ca'daints aren't good enough in the nutrasweet conference they play in. Maybe that's why they cut all of those returners, because they knew they didn't have what it takes to once again to bake the cake with those same ingredients? Good luck cutting all those returning players and winning it all! Sorry, I like jokes too and this NATIONAL DEFENDING CHAMPION is goin to bed like Norwich did in Lake Placid (or as Mc Shame called his team last year, Norwich Flacid)! :-D look at your own placid schedule (again)!

You have about as much sense of humor as a doorknob. I said I was being silly - lighten up fur cry in' out, although I do think they were way overrated at the start of the season (and Norwich is way over rated by USCHO as well)

Lighten up? Watch your favorite team get lit up once and then told they have a cream puff schedule and are a bunch of chocolate cream puffed donuts and see how that would sit with you. Lowest point by far in this early season. Rankings don't mean squat, voted on by twenty people who haven't seen 80% of the teams they're voting for, just a farce. I understand you're trying to be funny, and to any other fan of any other team you might have had them in stitches, but that's my favorite team and that was about as funny as the score from last night's thrashing.

This is ridiculous - I was making fun of the fact that for years, every time I see that name, I think of dessert - that's all. It's the name of the place not the team. Teams have rebuilding years - I think both Norwich and UWEC are in that mode this year. Statistically, you took huge losses that were not replaced.

Fine, this doorknob accepts your apology. I still think this team is a lot better than what was on the ice, but they have to prove it. Very complacent bunch that will be average this year if they don't get a pulse. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

How about a slice of humility on this thanksgiving day. Yes EC is the defending NC. They had a magical season with a group of misfit D1 guys. While I congradulate them on their accomplishment last year, that was last year. Just remember anybody can win 1. Winning 1 doesnt put you in the same category of NU,SNC,or PSU.
So laughing in the face of NUPROF because "his" team didnt win their last game is just plain ignorant.

I thought it was funny. And my boss, who went to Eau Claire and has a son on the football and track teams, brings in such pastries to celebrate big Blugold wins or to pay off bets if they lose.
