I don't think Lee gave up a soft goal really.
The first two goals were puck bounces that left a Sioux player with shots from about 2 feet in front of the net. The first Toews goal it looked like Lee was screened by his dman, and the 2nd Toews goal was just a bounce along the goal line and off his skate.

That was gross. Huskies looked totally on their heels. The fans at the REA were hospitable. I was in the student section and everyone seemed nice enough, although I would be too getting off to a 2-0 lead in period 1. Spent a large majority of the game in the bar. That sucked. I'm going to go smoke and hope my favorite team can figure it out tomorrow. If Jon Ammerman is in the lineup again I'll jump off the Sorlie Bridge. Hold me to it. :mad:

If Marvin isn't playing tomorrow (due to the CFB), Ammerman will.

That hit was bush league and Marvin followed him up the ice and didn't have the puck when he was ramed into the boards with Marvin's Elbow, if he was playing in the NHL right now he would be sitting for at least 2-3 more games.

That was such a nice effort:( I hope that we can have another nice effort tonight:eek: After all, all we want as Husky fans are nice efforts. We don't ask for nothing more, just like the rodent fb team and their cluless coach, he is proud of their effort. Remember it's all about effort, effort, and more effort. And besides if we finish near the bottom of the WCHA we'll get a higher draft choice in next year's H.S. and jr. leaugue draft which will translate into even greater effort. Let's celebrate the effort!

Anybody there to help? I need some effort!

Hextall obviously shows himself to be a dirty player here given he gets taken down by the ref. Watching that I don't really understand how Hexy or Hepp got any penalties. Neither one did much of anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a concussion.
